The Black House Museum will be opening Thursday, June 23 for the 2022 Season.
Woodlawn Museum, Gardens & Park
Woodlawn is a 180-acre historic estate located a quarter mile from downtown Ellsworth, Maine. Once home to three generations of the Black family, it is now treasured for the Black House, its historic house museum, community and formal gardens, and its public park with walking trails.
Visitors are encouraged to tour the historic museum, wander the gardens and lawn, walk the trails and enjoy the smoke-free property.
Woodlawn, including the land, building, furniture, and pictures therein shall be kept as a public park.
