Sunday July 3 is Col Black’s birthday. Let’s enjoy some cupcakes in his honor.  And we will also celebrate his grandson – George Nixon Black – whose birthday is July 10^th  by making Nixon’s favorite: strawberry ice cream. Ice cream making starts at 10:30.  Come on up and help us make something delicious!

While enjoying the treats, we will hear the story of Hector Fox and the Giant Quest by Astrid Sheckels which will be the story trail this summer. In partnership with Ellsworth Public Library, this trail tale will be in place through the end of August for you to come up and enjoy anytime.

This is a free family event.  The Black House Museum will be open for tours from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Parking for this event is up in the field, drive past the construction.  Follow the arrow.
