The construction crews have been hard at work since early June and by mid July, the foundation is likely to be poured. The barn is taking shape and we want to celebrate with Ellsworth. The first 100 people who respond to the invitation (call 207-667-8671 or email [email protected]) are welcome on Thursday, July 14 from 5:30 pm (by bus – shuttles from the Middle School starting at 5 pm!).

Ellsworth residents and Woodlawn friends have provided financial support and goodwill over the years; now we want to share the future vision with you. The barn will ensure Woodlawn’s ability to offer year-round program space for educational outreach as well as the safe and accessible storage of archives and museum items. Woodlawn will also be able to rent spaces for events, weddings, and programs from late 2023.
