On behalf of the Woodlawn Trustees and staff, I want to thank the hundreds of people who helped make the 2017 Ellsworth Antiques Show at Woodlawn a huge success. Our thanks go to our presenting sponsors, Skinner, Inc and Boston Private Wealth, and to the many area business sponsors who supported our efforts with generous donations. The amazing venue was created by the crews of Wallace Events, E.L. Shea and King Electric, we thank you for your hard work. To the 27 dealers who traveled many, many miles to exhibit and sell their wares, thank you.
We appreciate the hours given by our dedicated volunteers, the Ellsworth Noontime Rotarians who helped park cars, and the Ellsworth Lioness Club who joined us in serving guests at the Opening Night Festivities. Thanks go to Chipper’s Restaurant & Catering, Airline Brewing Company, Rooster Brother, and Pugnuts Ice Cream Shop who kept our guests well fed and hydrated. The Bangor Symphony Orchestra String Quartet, the Acadia School of Traditional Music and Art, and the SPCA of Hancock County entertained our guests and enhanced their experience. And lastly, thank you to our guests, without whom there would be no Show.
These combined efforts by so many will help expand educational programming for area students. The proceeds from the Ellsworth Antiques Show benefit the Woodlawn Education Fund. This fund allows students to participate in Woodlawn School Programs, free of charge, including transportation as needed.
Together we made it happen! Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing you at the 2018 Show.
